This past year, I’ve experienced God’s faithfulness like I never have before. I’ve come to realize that I have not placed my complete trust in God until recently. I pray that we would all remember who it is we serve, our Maker, the Creator of the entire universe, the alpha and omega. To borrow from Jeremiah 32:17,”Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.” I pray that we would seek God, place our trust in Him, take Him on his word, and see that He is faithful. In times of struggle, He is faithful to give us the grace to persevere and make us new. Like a father, He is faithful to give us the things we need. And if we become His children, trusting him and taking delight in Him, we will find this to be true.

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
-James 1:2-5

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!”
