Chris and I were talking tonight and he mentioned that our first show as At All Costs when Craig joined the band was July 28th, 2001. The end of this month makes 10 years of the 3 of us being in a band together… man… Awesome!! I love these guys like brothers (and yeah, one IS my brother). I could go on and on about how many good times we’ve had and how many good people we’ve met… playing shows in and out of Tulsa, touring in ‘06, meeting new folks all along the way.
Even as I type this, I am listening to Meryll’s latest record (The Party on the North Face EP… check it out!) and thinking back on the shows we’ve played with them and thinking back on all the other friends in bands from Texas we’ve had the pleasure of getting to know and play shows with (Ethan Durelle, Little Compass… and so many others). And then to think of the countless friends we’ve met over the years in Tulsa. Some have come and gone, and new people and bands keep coming along. We are so happy and it’s by God’s grace that we have had the chance to meet all of you and share our music with you. We love you and we are ever grateful to those of you who have supported us over the years and continue to do so!
So, we continue on our journey. We are very proud of our latest venture, the Nocturnes LP. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out, please do so! We really put our hearts into this record! It feels great to still be playing and growing as musicians after all this time, and we will continue to do so as long as God sees fit :) Again, we love you all so much!
Lots of things going on this month!! Watch this video and keep up with us on Facebook for details.
